I share this particular screenshot because it includes the reshoot of my error. J.J. came to me for an image that would serve her as a realtor as well as an author. The intrigue of a murder-mystery writer does not look great on a reator business card, and visa versa.
Because I did not speak up, I had to reshoot to achieve this more suitable image of her "author look". It serves as my reminder to speak up. I could not have been more grateful that JJ returned to me confident of achieving both goals. (in two separate images of course) And she's getting great reviews on her new release of "Deadline". Risk-FREE
We stand behind our work with a MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE!
If you are not satisfied with the options you are presented, we'll head straight back to the camera room or we'll refund your investment on the spot. This has been my promise since establishing Prints Charming in 1996, and to date we've never been asked to reverse the charges. (Even during the global recession when we all shared the fear...)
Hassle-FREE
Don't like staring at cameras?
Many of our five-star review-writing clients were from those who had prior experiences to compare us to. Plus, we are conveniently located just off of Interstate Five, near Highway 217.
Worried about "dealing with a salesperson" to order?
We don't "sell" you anything. We present your images, and answer your questions. Your time is important, so we're not going to run you through a series of rhetorical "yes-questions" to lure you into more than what you came for. Brian is always happy to share his gift of public perception with you, but the choices are ultimately yours, and you will not walk away feeling duped!
Concerned about a male photographer?
Actually, so is Brian, and it's the very thing that allowed him the empathy to become the award-winning photographer that he is. Guys have a bad wrap for being self-serving, apathetic perverts in this craft. This may not be your concern, but because it is a concern with many, Brian has removed (or left wide open) every camera-room door he's ever worked in. It's a sad reality, but a common fear with many women, and your genuine comfort is his greatest concern - male or female!
Raised and trained by his three daughters, Brian is sensitive and attentive to all details that matter in photographing women.
Cheese-FREE
Actually that's more than a playful policy it's a selling point. "Cheese" is sold in the supermarket, not our studio.
When we say that Brian will direct you toward an authentic expression, we mean approachable, trustworthy, mysterious or whatever it is that speaks to your need.
In most cases this includes a smile. A smile, void of scary micro-expressions that will cause your clients to misread who you truly are. Have you ever read through your Voter's Pamphlet full of public-servant-hopefuls, totally impressed until you saw their photo? You're not alone, and your not a bad person for doing so. We are naturally wired to read expressions through our fight-or-flight instincts.
“My greatest role as your photographer is to direct you toward that authentic expression that will attract your next client, employer or publisher.”
Your future clients are unconsciously discerning who you really are before they ever read your LinkedIn.com profile. One misread micro-expression and "click" on to the next!..
